Release notes:

This is the final release for the HardQore modification.  However, some of the new content hasn't been 100%
bug tested, optimizid, or properly balanced.  Due to many external and internal reasons, the HQ team has
decided it was best to move on to new projects or other interest.  HQ development has ended.

We wanted to make sure the public recieved the content planned for the second release even if it was felt
99% ready instead of a 100%.  We would like to thank everybody who has supported, played & enjoyed the mod and the community
& ids support for helping us create it.  It was real learning experience for many of us making HQ and we
enjoyed the ride all the way.

Build 0.88 Updates and changes:

-New maps added:  Orbital, Shafted, Green Hell and Iron Blood part 2.
-Previous released maps from the first beta build have been slightly enhanced and tweaked.
-Exe installer created for the mod for easy install.
-Main menu tweaked; removed multiplayer button.
-Game patched to 1.4.2
-Player Def updated with double coding removed.
-Time it takes to crouch is now faster, it was ment to be this way in build 0.85. 
   RAte is now 0.1 instead of 0.87
-Shotgun model resized and recolored.
-Railgun def tweaked, fires faster, carries more ammo
-Napalm code fine tuned.  Player damage totally removed, larger clip, and faster rate of fire
-Grenade Launcher model resized
-MachineGun model resized and recolored.
-The machinegun is now held by the player in the same position as the plasmagun.
-Railgun model resized
-Nailgun model edited.  Now looks like a chaingun.
-HQ Breakable objects 2 system added.  This version allows mappers to choose any q4 model and make it break.
   It also features a larger selection of explosion types to use.  The new entities are listed from the HQ
   tab in the editor as before.  The mapper can determine how much health the object has and more.

KNOWN BUGS:

-ATI MAIN MENU BUG
Some users have reported problems with the main menu being completely black or missing text.  A majority of
the time this occurs with ATI cards users.  The problem stems from the DDS files used in mid to lower end
settings to help increase performance. We tried to recreate this feels to remove the problem, but it never workded.
If you do recieve this problem, there is a way around it.  Try one of the following console commands:
image_useCompression "0"
or
image_usePrecompressedTextures "0"
If this works, then afterwards ingame change them back to "1" to increase performance unless your pc can
Q4 on the highest settings.

-CLIPPING
We tried very hard to make sure the player never clips to the sides.  However,  we never could get it to work
100% of the time.  Very Rarely the player can get knocked to the sides.  If this happens, the player might not
be able to proceed forward or their bullets will miss the enemy.  If this does happen, then you must restart the
level.
